Your information.

When you use the app, it stores the information you submit: consultation answers, photos, service plans, prices, aftercare, check-ins and support requests. Account identity is supplied through sign-in. Approved stylist access is managed separately.

Your connected hair plan includes the agreed direction and pricing, aftercare and check-ins. Private stylist notes, formulas and placement planning are excluded from the connected client view.

IN CHAIR uses hosted database and photo storage. Stripe will process subscription payments when connected; card details are entered through Stripe rather than stored in IN CHAIR’s database.

The app records aggregate interruption counts by screen, category and response status. These reports do not include consultation content or account identifiers. Reports older than 30 days are removed when new reports are received. Sign-in and hosting providers may maintain their own service logs.

Your membership.

Professional is $24 USD monthly or $240 annually. Professional + Discover is $44 monthly or $440 annually. Salon is $129 monthly or $1,290 annually for five approved stylists, with seats 6–50 available for $10 monthly or $100 annually each. Eligible first subscriptions receive a seven-day card-required trial.

When billing is connected, open Membership to manage payment details, invoices and cancellation. Cancellation stops renewal; access continues through the current paid period. Client access is free and IN CHAIR adds no booking commission.

Every salon teammate uses a private approved account. Salon owners manage membership seats but do not receive access to each stylist’s client records. Each stylist sets their own service prices.

Help and account controls.

Use the private support desk for help or privacy questions. Replies appear there; support email notifications are not enabled.

Account controls provide a JSON export, a photo archive and permanent account deletion. Exports contain photo references; download original files separately from the photo archive. Cancel an active membership before deleting your account. Export anything you need first. Records held separately by a stylist may require a separate request.
